What is creativity to you?

Cristian Righetti

I think creativity should play a role in all areas of life, not only in the manufacture of products for sale. Creativity is what allows us to see another way to approach problems, needs, and everyday situations.

Where do you find inspiration for your projects?

Cristian Righetti

When I approach a new project, I find inspiration in everything, except bags! Mostly I observe the world of architecture, which has always interested me, because it is a reflection of the behaviour and development of our society. Nature also provides me with many ideas.

Are your collections the result of ideas, dreams, or...?

Cristian Righetti

With my collections, I try to satisfy needs that have changed over time. Just think of the technology that we now carry around every day with us, becoming ever smaller and lighter. I've always tried to create collections wherein each item is a visual reflection of the wearer.

Mandarina Duck, what does it mean to you?

Cristian Righetti

Ever since my studies, Mandarina Duck has inspired me. When I was at school, there was an offer for an internship with the brand. This offer fit precisely with my objectives at the time, because for me, the products were different. I saw them as something beyond fashion pieces, and I wanted to be part of this world.
